About us
- For over 20 years Orewa Beach Vet Clinic has been serving the local community by providing quality care, and has developed a loyal and dedicated client base.
- We are a team of 3 vets who are supported by a team of skilled nurses and a practice manager. We value a friendly, supportive, caring work environment and always ensure we have a few laughs along the way. The clinic caseload is varied with a mix of routine and weird and wonderful cases!

About this role
- The vets have clinical freedom to work up their own cases but always collaborate and support each other with more difficult cases. Areas of special interest are welcomed and supported. We strive to maintain and provide a gold standard service to our clients and patients, and are always looking to learn and improve what we can.
- Our spacious, purpose fitted clinic has been recently refurbished and is well equipped with ultrasound, digital xray, digital dental xray, idexx inhouse diagnostic suite, multiparameter monitoring unit, tonometry and more.
About you
- We are looking for an experienced, passionate, friendly, and dedicated team player who prides themselves on integrity, compassion and communication.
- You will have at least 5 years small animal experience, confident in both consults and surgery and happy with some sole charge (1:3 Saturday mornings).
- BVSc (or equivalent) and be registered, or eligible to register to practice in New Zealand.
