About us
Vetcall Ashmore is the largest GP Hospital on the Gold Coast, with our 650sqm iconic practice centrally based on a large suburban block ten minutes from Surfers Paradise. Our practice holds a long history in our community with an established and expansive client base, known for our reputation for high quality care and genuine relationships.
Our busy practice operates on 5-6 talented vets per day focused on a diverse caseload of routine and complex cases across our medicine, diagnostics, procedures, surgery and urgent care services – all supported by our dedicated client service team and qualified veterinary nurses.
Vetcall Ashmore has looked after several pets for us. About this role
Our Behaviour Vet will benefit from providing initial consultations on the referral of our veterinary teams and booked via our client care coordinators. The initial in-clinic consultation, diagnostics and management program may be followed by subsequent home visits.
The position is highly flexible with the option to continue General Practice work or Specialise only in behavioural case demand. We have an expansive and loyal client base, with behavioural services in strong demand across the Gold Coast.
You will have exceptional clinical, practical and interpersonal skills to represent the team in quality small animal medicine and behaviour case
About you
Your skill set would essentially include the following:
- Qualification in veterinary behaviour medicine or advanced training in this field
- Passionate about progressive behavioural services and force-free training
- Experienced in performing behaviour consultations and/or designing behaviour management programs or facilitating integrated care plans is desirable
- Dedicated to nurturing patient care along with excellent team and client communication
- Provide advice to our veterinary teams on simple cases or for more complex referrals
- Current drivers license with the ability to travel across the Gold Coast and surrounds
